The terms and fees applied by Paynet are standard for all the types of organizations regardless of the organizational status or the legal form and are not adapted to the specific terms of non-profit organizations such as Hospices of Hope Moldova, but it is a convenient way for our organization to receive donations. National Network
The National Palliative Care Network “Hospices of Hope Moldova” was launched in 2017 and consists of interdisciplinary teams that provide home-based palliative care services. Hospices of Hope Moldova consistently supports five partner organizations in Bălți, Orhei, Soroca, Ocnița and Taraclia and in 2023 it launched its own interdisciplinary team in Chișinău.
The “Hope Day Centre” (Centrul de zi Speranța)
The Hope Day Centre Chișinău provides access to a wide range of services for people with conditions that affect their quality of life. You are welcome at the Hope Day Centre Chișinău to benefit from both group and individual occupational therapy sessions.
The Centre’s professionals are available to help you cope with your concerns. Here you will find a warm and friendly environment where you can meet new people and take part in enjoyable activities. We are supported by volunteers who regularly join us to facilitate activity groups such as arts and crafts. We also organize group activities and recreational moments.
The “Wings of Hope” (Aripile Speranței)
The NGO “Wings of Hope” (AO Aripile Speranței) is the first provider of free palliative care services in Orhei District for adults and children suffering from cancer and other incurable diseases. During 2014, the organization carried out over 1,500 home visits through its mobile team, delivering high-quality medical and social services as well as psycho-emotional support. By 2021, the team expanded its services to approximately 5,000 home visits per year.
On 7 June 2022, the Orhei team expanded further with the establishment of the first Day Centre and home-based palliative care service “Wings of Hope” in Orhei. The Centre organizes weekly activities for patients and is also open to refugees from Ukraine who require medical, psychological, or social services.

“Angelus Soroca”
The public association “Angelus Soroca” was established and legally registered with the Ministry of Justice in 2013, with the aim of improving the quality of life of patients with incurable diseases in advanced and terminal stages, as well as that of their families.
The mission of the Soroca team is to improve the quality of life of patients with progressive and advanced incurable oncological diseases by providing palliative care services. Its vision is that all patients with advanced and incurable illnesses should have access to palliative care.
Within the association operates a mobile team that regularly carries out home visits, providing both medical assistance and psycho-emotional support to bedridden patients suffering from terminal incurable diseases. The mobile team also offers voluntary support to grieving family members. Patients receive medications and para-pharmaceutical products, and all services provided by Hospice Angelus are free of charge.
Angelus Soroca provides monthly care to approximately 60 beneficiaries of all ages, suffering from advanced-stage chronic illnesses and other life-limiting conditions, with a life expectancy of under 12 months, uncontrolled symptoms, significant psycho-emotional or spiritual distress, and/or a certain level of dependency.

“Angelus Ocnița”
The public association “Angelus Ocnița” was founded in 2010. According to its operational regulations, AO Angelus Ocnița provides home-based palliative care services to cancer patients in stages 3 and 4, considered terminal. The organization operates within Ocnița District, serving an average of 50 patients per month.
The team provides counseling services to patients and their families during the illness, as well as to family members after the patient’s death. It also delivers medical palliative care, social assistance, and psychological support to all oncology patients, especially those with stomas, helping them avoid isolation within their families and society.

“Angelus Taraclia”
Angelus Taraclia operates to support patients in terminal stages and with life-limiting prognoses, providing care to approximately 50 patients per month from Taraclia District, including surrounding villages.
Maria Chiose, Team Leader, notes that patients are extremely appreciative of the visits they receive from the team:
“We grow attached to each patient and support them both psycho-emotionally and by providing the necessary medications, so that beneficiaries can live each moment without pain and truly enjoy life.”
