The “Building Hope Together” event represented an important moment of solidarity, reflection, and shared commitment to the development of palliative care services in the Republic of Moldova. The initiative brought together partners, supporters, and representatives of the diplomatic and civic community, united by a common vision: creating a more humane, accessible, and dignified care system for patients and their families.

The evening was hosted by Her Excellency, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Moldova, Ms. Fern Horine, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude for her openness, engagement, and continuous support for this vital cause. Her Excellency’s presence and support highlighted the importance of international cooperation in developing projects with lasting social impact.

We also had the honour of welcoming Ms. Anna Perolls, CEO of Hospices of Hope UK, whose visit represented a meaningful gesture of support and encouragement for our mission.

The event provided an opportunity to present the progress achieved to date in the development of the future Hospices of Hope Moldova Palliative Care Hospital, as well as the next stages and objectives ahead. This project remains a profound commitment to patients who need support, comfort, and dignity in the most difficult moments of life.

We extend our special thanks to all partners and supporters who contributed to the success of this event and to the advancement of our mission:
Purcari Wines, Box Catering, Rodica Nicov, Vois, Darella, Divinity Ceramics, Kuki, Bonjour, and the artist Cristina Balan.

The “Building Hope Together” evening was enriched by a remarkable artistic moment delivered by Cristina Scarlat and Aurel Chirtoacă, who brought emotion, sensitivity, and depth to the entire event.

We extend our sincere appreciation to photographer Ruslan Chihai for the most exceptional captures of the evening.

Through their stage presence and artistic performance, they contributed to a warm and inspiring atmosphere, fully aligned with the message of the evening – solidarity, hope, and humanity.

We sincerely thank them for their involvement and for the way they supported, through art, the mission of Hospices of Hope Moldova.

Each partner made a valuable contribution, transforming this evening into an example of solidarity and community engagement.

As a charitable organization, Hospices of Hope Moldova remains deeply grateful to all who believe in this mission and contribute, through concrete actions, to building a better future for patients and their families.

Together we are building hope.

We did it! Over 450 km covered on the Chișinău – Orhei – Soroca – Bălți – Chișinău route, with a single purpose: supporting the construction of the first Palliative Care Hospital in the country.

We still need your support! If you appreciate the effort of our participants, you can turn this gesture into an even greater act of generosity through a DONATION at www.hospicesofhope.md, indicating the participant’s name in the “payment details” field, until the end of the charity ride.

Our heroes deserve all your appreciation and support for this difficult, but so noble mission.

Day 3 of Hospice Bike Tour was not at all as we expected. Strong wind, flat tires, technical problems, and a route that seemed endless — it was one of the hardest and most demanding stages of the 2026 edition. Exactly when we thought the hills were over, others appeared one after another.

The second day of Hospice Bike Tour 2026 brought a higher level of difficulty, both through the distance and the diversity of the terrain covered.

After leaving the Orhei region, the cyclists continued the route towards the north of the country, crossing rural localities and roads that tested the physical endurance, but also the concentration of each participant.
