25 brave cyclists have made it to the final destination – Cluj-Napoca! Nearly 600 km covered from Chișinău to Cluj-Napoca. 4 intense days. Countless challenges, smiles, tough climbs, and hope. Today, we made history.
These people didn’t pedal for themselves. They pedalled for those who no longer can. For our patients battling incurable illnesses whom every pain-free day means the world.
Each participant, beyond the challenge of covering almost 600 km in 4 days, was also encouraged to raise 500 EUR – a contribution that will allow the beneficiaries of Hospices of Hope Moldova to have absolute free access to medical, social, and psychological assistance during the hardest moments of life.

The participants faced the toughest stage for far – a route with steep climbs that felt endless at times. However, the courage, determination and the desire to push beyond limits was stronger than any obstacle.
Hospice Bike Tour is one of the most important annual charity projects of the Hospices of Hope Moldova organisation, and our cycling team is the force that keeps it moving forward. For 10 years, we’ve been peddling for those who no longer can.
Day 2 of #HospiceBikeTour2025 was about other 150 challenging but meaningful kilometres for our brave cyclists, this time on the Iași – Gura Humorului.
An early morning, a long road travelled with effort and determination until the evening. All of this with a single purpose – supporting people who have serious incurable illnesses.
At Hospices of Hope Moldova, each patient receives free medical, social, and psychological assistance, both at home and in our day centers. This is possible thanks to the involvement of Hopsice Bike Tour participants, who chose to invest their time, energy, and resources in bringing comfort to those in need.
Today, Hospices of Hope Moldova kicked off the 10th edition of the charity sports event Hospice Bike Tour 2025. For 10 years, we’ve been turning kilometers into hope. For 10 years, we’ve been riding for those who no longer can.
This anniversary edition, we embarked on a journey of approximately 600 km, from Chișinău to Cluj-Napoca, with the mission of supporting people who suffer from incurable illnesses and need support in their daily struggle.
From the headquarters of OTP Bank in Chișinău, the main partner of the event, 20 amateur but brave cyclists set off. The goal for the first day: 150 km to Iași.

A Patient’s Story
Mr. Arcadie, the beneficiary of AO “Angelus Taraclia - part of the National Hospices of Hope Moldova Network, is over 70 years old and is diagnosed with rectal cancer. Arcadie is the person who first conducted the gas in the villages of the Taraclia region, bringing comfort and warmth to many fellow citizens.
Mr. Arcadie has been a worker all his life and has favorable living conditions, but he also has a blind, first-degree, blind wife, whom he cares for.
