On April 3, this year, Hospices of Hope (HoH) Moldova signed a grant contract with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) through the ADA Small Grants Programme.

The funds are dedicated for the development and implementation of a training program for family members of people in palliative care at home, which will contribute to inclusive employment and empowerment with the necessary knowledge for palliative care service provision. Following the training, family members of palliative patients will get the necessary qualifications to become personal assistants, enhancing their opportunities for employment and economic empowerment.

The charitable event "Mare Art Not War" is scheduled to take place at the National Museum of History of Moldova on March 31st at 4:00 PM. The purpose of this event is to support the Ukrainian people and raise funds for the Hope Center Chisinau, which will open its doors to refugees from Ukraine. The event is organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova, International Women Club Moldova, the Embassy of Ukraine in Chisinau, and the National Museum of History of Moldova.

The entrance fee for the event is 50 euros and represents a donation for the Ukrainian people. This fee can be paid at the donation box at the event or through the International Women Club Moldova account. All the money collected will be donated to the Embassy of Ukraine in Chisinau and the Hope Center Chisinau project developed by Hospices of Hope Moldova to help those in need.

The event is an opportunity for the international community to come together and demonstrate solidarity with the Ukrainian people. In addition, the event provides an opportunity to discover and understand the history and culture of Ukraine through the program included in the event.

Overall, Mare Art Not War is an important charitable event that aims to help those in need, as well as to show solidarity and support in the face of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. In this sense, it is important to join forces and offer support to those who are fighting for survival in these difficult times.

In 2022, Hospices of Hope, together with the Embassy of Ukraine in Chisinau, organized a similar event that raised over 18,000 euros and was visited by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, who also made a personal donation.
